Creating The Design

The original idea for Noughts and Crystals came last autumn when travelling through Regents Park and marvelling at the kaleidoscope of colours on natures canvas.

Wanting to bring some sparkle back to the season yet maintain the subdued, warm colours, one of our senior designers came up with the idea of displaying the Swarovski crystals in a checkerboard effect. Our design team was so ‘blown away’ (excuse the pun) by the design, it has become an instant favourite with everyone at City Slickers and a must have for the range.
